emOx is a dependable, lightweight, portable, powdered emergency oxygen system, supplied in hermetically pilfer-proof sealed containers. Each emOx unit consists of a nylon carry bag, a specially designed plastic cylinder with operating instructions and a built-in humidifier, 3x15 minute white powder applications plus three activator catalysts, a face mask with a 1.5 metre tubing and a water measuring bottle. The total unit weighs only 1.75kg (4lbs). |
It takes less than 30 seconds to activate the user-friendly emOx system to deliver oxygen with purity in excess of 99.7 per cent for approximately 15 minutes. More oxygen may be supplied by emptying the residue and repeating the activating procedure.
Refill powder packs consisting of 4x15 minute applications are available, which eliminates the cost and inconvenience of sending cylinders to be refilled.
emOx, which was developed and manufactured in South Africa, is designed to be reliable, dependable and safe in any emergency situation until professional medical assistance is available.
It does not depend on gauges to indicate the amount of oxygen as the number of 15 minute applications available is clearly visible. There is no danger of oxygen leaking out while not in use.
The emOx system is not pressurised and has no moving parts. It is non-corrosive, so no servicing or maintenance is required, and the powders used are environmentally accepted, with an indefinite shelf life. They present no fire hazard and are non-explosive.

CELOX (pronounced ‘’cell locks’’) is the newest generation of emergency hemostatic agent. Simpler to use and safer than older technologies, CELOX granules quickly control even the most severe arterial bleeding. The blood flow is stemmed by pouring in and packing the granules, and applying pressure. Unlike other products, CELOX does not release heat and will not burn the victim or caregiver. CELOX works in hypothermic conditions and will clot blood
even when heparin has been used to prevent this. CELOX
is safe to use for the entire body, including head, neck
and chest wounds. |

The Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) is a small, lightweight, one-handed tourniquet that completely blocks the flow of arterial blood in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. CAT incorporates a windlass system, with a free-moving internal band, to provide even pressure around the whole circumference of the wound site. Once tightened, the windlass is locked in place when bleeding
has ceased. The CAT also has a Velcro windlass strap to
further secure the windlass during patient transport. |

The smooth finish of the airway, combined with rounded edges, facilitates insertion of the Portex Sterile NP Airway and increases patient comfort. It has maximum kink-resistance to ensure the airway remains open and is supplied with a safety pin for the option of an enlarged flange. It is available in four sizes. |

|
This product allows blood flow from traumatic hemorrhagic wounds to be stemmed in pre-hospital emergency situations. The product consolidates many first aid devices, such as primary dressing, secondary dressing and tourniquets, into one unit and is so easy to use that even an injured person can apply the bandage with only one hand. |
|
The dressing's circular design covers the wound and the pressure-sensitive adhesive seals it. A one-way valve lets air escape without letting any air re-enter. The chest seal comes in a sterile package with a gauze
pad for cleaning and drying the wound area. There is
no plastic wrap and its petrolatum (petroleum jelly)
foil and tape construction for both three-sided or four-sided
dressings is ideal for use when there is no time to lose. |
